Montreal is like Europe in North America.  What a fantastic get away for the weekend, especially for single girls who live in the mid atlantic region.  You can fly or drive to this great hidden gem. It's a cool destination with great food and shops.  Single girl travel actually went away on a date and still had a fun time.  Single girl favs: Creperie Chez Suzzette in old Montreal.  Crepes to die for a bit costly but worth it. Da Emma an authentic Italian Restaurant located in an old jail made of stone was beautifully restored and the ambiance was soothing yet intriguing.  The winter is a great time to take advantage of reduced  four star hotel rates.
